Candidates those would be registered for the JEE Main 2018 examination will able to download the admit card from the first week of March 2018. The admit card of JEE Main 2018 will available only in online mode for all the applicants. JEE Mains Application Form 2018 & JEE Main 2018 Exam Pattern : The application form of JEE Main 2018 was available from 01st Dec 2016 to 2nd Jan 2017. Before preparing for exam, you would be advise to gather complete information regarding JEE Main Syllabus 2017. JEE Main 2017 syllabus would consists of paper 1 and paper 2 syllabus. JEE main paper 1 would be aske for the B.Tech (Engineering) while paper 2 would be aske for architecture (B.Arch)

  • There will be 2 papers, In Paper- 1 there will be 90 questions.
  • Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 30 questions from each subject.
  • It will be 3 hours duration exam.
  • For every correct answer you will given 4 marks and 1 mark will deduct for every wrong answer.
  • Paper 2 is for B.Arch/B.Plannig aspiring students.
  • It will also cover 3 subjects- Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing test.
  • It will be 3 hours duration exam.
  • Maths section will have 30 objective questions compiling 120 marks,
  • Aptitude Section will consist of 50 questions of 200 marks(as expected)
  • In drawing test there will be 2 questions for 70 marks on topics Memory and 2D design.

CBSE is going to release JEE Main Admit card 2018 soon. Candidates needed to put some basis detail like Registration number, password or other information at the time of downloading. It is necessary for candidates to enter their class 12 roll number at the time of downloading JEE Main 2018 admit card. The roll number of class 12 will not be used while determining JEE Main 2018 score and All India rank.  The class 12 roll number will use at the time of admission by the concerned institution for verifying candidates’ identity. Before downloading the JEE Main 2018 admit card, students are advised to check all the details very carefully to avoid any discrepancy in the details.

JEE Main Cutoff :

JEE Main 2018 result and score will announc most probably in the month of April 2018. One needs to clear a certain score to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. This score will depend upon a lot of factors, such as the number of students who attempt the exam, and the difficulty of the paper. Hence we advise candidates to download their score card from the official website of JEE Main 2018. Generally, the cutoffs are as follows:

  • 105-115 for General Category
  • 70-75 for OBC
  • 50-55 for SC
  • 45-50 for ST

Only those candidates that have registered for JEE Main 2018, can download the JEE Main 2018 admit card. Candidates have to login to the portal by entering their application number and chosen password. After downloading the admit card, the applicants are requested to cross check their personal information. In case there are any discrepancy, the applicants should immediately contact the official authorities. It is absolutely essential for the applicants to bring the admit card to the exam centre. The applicants without the admit card will not allow to sit for the examination.
