Basic Age Limit for SSC CGL 2017 Exam & Nationality/ Citizenship of SSC Combined Graduation Level Exam ?

Nationality/ Citizenship : Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Candidates must have this citizenship which is given below.

  • citizen of India, or
  • subject of Nepal, or
  • a subject of Bhutan, or
  • Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the Ist January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

1. 20 years to 27 Years for @ Tax Assistant Post (Candidate should have born in between 02.08.1990 to 01.08.1997)

2. 18 years to 27 years (Born in Between 02.08.1990 to 01.08.1999) :

What is Educational Qualification for SSC CGL Recruitment 2017 ? SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification : Under SSC CGL Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2017 Candidates must have completed their Graduation Degree from any recognized university or institution. Participants also required their mark sheet numbers while they submit CGLE 2017 SSC online form 2017. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.   • Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer & All Other Post : Candidate should have done Bachelor/ Graduation Degree from a recognized University or Institute. Applicants who have also completed their Master in Commerce or MBA in (Finance or Economics) or (CA) Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Account or (CS) Company Secretary they all will be given preference.
  • Junior Statistical Officer :  Applicants should have a Bachelor degree in any discipline and with 60% marks in Maths in 12th Standard (10+2) Or degree in any discipline with statistics as one of the subject.
  • All Other Post : Those candidates who are going to apply for this post they all must have done Bachelor Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
  • Applicants who are appear in final year of Graduation can also apply for SSC CGL 2017 Vacancy.

15 For Group C posts General/Unreserved Central Govt. Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application Up to 40 years of age
17 Central Govt. OBC Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application Maximum age 43 years
19 Central Govt. SC/ST Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application Up to 45 years of age
21 Applicants who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir(Unreserved/General) 5 years
22 Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir(OBC) 8 years
23 Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir( SC/ST) 10 years
24 For Group “C” posts only. Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not remarried(Unreserved/General) Up to 35 years of age
25 Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not remarried(OBC) Upper 33 years
26 Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not remarried(SC/ST) Up to 40 years of age
27 Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof.( Unreserved/General) 5 years
